With the fashion industry accounting for 10% of all greenhouse gas emissions globally, we believe it’s time we all start taking more responsibility for our actions –that’s why true sustainability has been a part of our mission from day one.
To be truly Earth-conscious requires constant innovation, reflection, and action, and while we know there’s still room for us to grow, we promise that we will never stop working towards a brighter, greener future.
For us, sustainability is a journey that starts from the ground up. Our collections are made with organic cottons, recycled polyester, plant-based Lyocell fibers, and more to ensure our pieces look and do good, from the inside out. Plus, we’ve committed to using no real fur or animal leather as we continue to search for innovative new lab- and plant-based materials in their stead.
While other brands may discard unsold stock and unused fabrics, we constantly challenge ourselves to (re)use these materials in new collections to fulfill our PURE Girls’ urge for sustainable fashion in a creative yet functional way.
Each season, we are proud to present our greenest collection in the form of our Re(Up)cycle capsule. Every item in this capsule is made entirely with recycled fabrics sourced from leftover materials and items from previous collections, creating something that altogether fresh, new, and 100% PURE.

Grown without pesticides from seeds that have not been genetically modified, using organic cotton promotes sustainable farming practices that require the consumption of fewer resources, as well as the wellbeing of the communities that produce it.
This “miracle fabric” is entirely plant-based, produced without toxic chemicals and only half as much water as is used in traditional non-organic cotton manufacturing – it’s also incredibly soft, breathable, and hypoallergenic.
Created by obtaining existing plastic and re-spinning it into new polyester fibers, recycled polyester reduces environmental waste and requires less up to 59% less energy than virgin polyester to produce.
Avoiding real fur and leather helps protect vulnerable animal populations and resources, and reduces the environmental impact that traditional leather tanning creates.

Our material sourcing process is rigorous and lengthy, as it’s important to us that any material or fabric we use is durable, fairly priced, premium in quality, and produced in such a way that its environmental impact is minimized. We work with a number of different partners located globally to source these materials, and with the number of emerging names in the sustainable fabric space, we are also constantly on the lookout for interesting and innovative new materials to bring to you. Our goal is to slowly increase the percentage of our collection that is made with sustainable fabrics, year after year.
Our Re(Up)cycle capsule is released with our ready-to-wear collection each season, and can be found at any PortsPURE retail location globally. Our Re(Up)cycle capsule items are always marked with a green REUP label so you can locate them easily, regardless of where you are.
We’re always open to suggestions and open conversation about our sustainability efforts. For any sustainability related comments or inquiries, please feel free to contact us at hello@portspure.com.
